Do not recommend

Doug would be the lawyer to hire if you wanted someone who never calls back. Who waits till the day of court to try and get paperwork. Who shows up late to court (almost 15mins) with zero paperwork needed. He often didn’t know what was going on. When confronted by the judge as to why things weren’t g...etting done, he mumbled trying to think of something to say. We provided him with the paperwork personally that he needed and he had the nerve in court to ask if we ever gave him the paperwork. We hired him because family informed us of how good he was almost 20 years ago, but as of today I would not recommend at all. He was paid upfront and couldn’t even act like we were a priority to him. When he did manage to call back he always seemed confused on who he was speaking with or what was going on. I was completely embarrassed by his behavior. We had to send other lawyers and members of the court to search for him as the judge waited. He was completely unprofessional and often wanted to talk about family during our time with him right before court started.
