I have used Mr. Burgett for all my legal work since moving to Oregon. Owning multiple properties on the coast, I thought it best to have a local attorney to handle all my legal affairs. I was involved in a motor vehicle accident where there appeared to be no injuries. I was issued a citation which I believed I was not guilty and assigned negligence to me. I contacted Mr. Burgett who appeared on my behalf. A trial was held and Mr. Burgett did an outstanding presentation of the law an...d the facts proving that I was NOT GUILTY and certainly NOT negligent. The other party contracted a huge medical debt and threatened to sue outside my policy limits. I was extremely scared. I am on a fixed income and certainly had no money to pay a settlement or huge legal bills. Mr. Burgett took the lead, worked with the insurance and the other attorney. Bottom line, I was found not guilty, there was no negligence, no lawsuit and I can't praise Mr. Burgett's efforts enough. He is not only a great attorney but was always available for my calls and kept me advised of all aspects. I can't say thank you enough!!! Fantastic, honest and compassionate!!
