I live in a fairly small town. If an attorney were to be incompetent or rude, the word would spread quickly and that attorney would find few clients in that town. Stacey is highly regarded in this area. When I was first looking for a trust attorney, several people recommended her. For any attorney, I... suppose there will always be a couple clients who aren’t pleased for one reason or another. The attorney’s job is complicated and many decisions need to be made – this leaves room for disgruntlement for some when others might have been pleased. When my senior center members also recommended Stacey, I called her. She came to my house for a two hour visit, free of charge. I appreciated the feeling of confidentiality in my own home. We discussed my trust needs, which were lengthy, and then Stacey made suggestions. She then left it up to me whether to hire her, no strings attached. My trust took several months to complete as it was complicated. I also hired Stacey to set up my Advance Directive and Power of Attorney. I found Stacey to be timely, extremely intelligent, and kind. Stacey always responded to my calls and emails quickly. She was considerate of my needs and was willing to accommodate me with all the changes I made to the trust as we worked through the details. At the beginning, she quoted me a very reasonable price for the package of work she would do, and never charged more even though I made many changes. Stacey is willing to help with any future needs I may have, small items she doesn’t even charge for. I feel fortunate to have found such a capable attorney who genuinely cares for her clients.
