Kayla Nicole Steindorf

My practice focuses on families and children, encompassing dissolutions of marriage, child custody, parenting plans, and protective orders. I have a passion for working with underserved populations and survivors of domestic violence.

I graduated from the University of Oregon with a BA in psychology and a minor in anthropology in 2013. I received my law degree from the University of Oregon School of Law in 2017, earning a Public Interest Law Concentration, a Family Law Concentration, and a Pro Bono Award for service to the community. I was admitted to the Oregon Bar the same year.

During law school, I worked closely with the Domestic Violence Clinic on campus, representing indigent survivors of domestic violence in family law matters. I also worked as a law clerk for Thorp, Purdy, Jewett, & Wilkinson, P.C. in Springfield, Oregon. After graduating from law school, I served as a judicial clerk to the Honorable Charles M. Zennaché at the Lane County Circuit Court in Eugene, Oregon. I joined the Reynolds Law Firm in January 2019, and became a partner in January 2025.

I am a member of the Oregon State Bar Family Law Executive Committee, and work on the Family Law Conference each year, a member of Albany Rotary, and a board member of Friends of Philip, a small animal and fish sanctuary. In the past, I have been on the board of directors and a committee leader at the Center Against Rape and Domestic Violence (CARDV), was on the Wine and Whiskers Committee at Heartland Humane Society, volunteered with Furniture Share, and participated in the 2019-2020 Leadership Corvallis program.

In my free time, I love to hike, camp, and spend time with my partner and our three dogs, Summit, Apex, and Denali.
