Marie A Loiseau

Marie is an associate attorney at The Law Office of Eden Rose Brown in Salem, Oregon. Their firm is devoted to serving clients throughout Salem and Portland, Oregon in estate planning, philanthropy, business planning, asset protection, planning for minor children and planning for pets.

Before moving to Salem, Marie was part of the civil litigation team at The Reynolds Law Firm in Corvallis, Oregon. Her practice in Corvallis focused on nonprofit law, business, protective proceedings, estate administration, landlord-tenant, and litigation matters.

Marie holds a law degree from Temple University Beasley School of Law in Philadelphia, PA where she earned a full-tuition academic scholarship. She passed the July 2019 Universal Bar Exam (UBE) with a score eligible for practice in any UBE state. During school, she balanced a full-time job, freelance writing assignments, and school work. She garnered experience working with various environmental groups including the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection, the Southern Environmental Law Center, and the Delaware Riverkeeper Network. She interned with the Philadelphia District Attorney's Office, conducting preliminary hearings and trials in Municipal Court. I worked with Honorable Leonard G. Brown III., in the Lancaster County Court of Common Pleas in Lancaster, PA and traveled to Charleston, SC where she worked with Charleston Pro Bono Legal Services, providing civil services for low-income clients in Charleston County.

She served as Staff Editor on the Temple Law Review in the 2017-18 academic year. The environmental law article she drafted during that time, "Revived Authority In Article I, Section 27 Of The Pennsylvania Constitution: The Commonwealth’s New Affirmative Duty To Protect The Atmosphere" was selected for publication and appeared in The Temple Law Review, Vol. 91. 

When Marie is not working, she spends time with family and friends, or hikes with her rescue dogs, Sydney and Mochi.
