Biography
I grew up in Fairbanks, Alaska. I received a B.A. in Communications and Political Science from Washington State University in Pullman in 1995. That same year, I moved to Las Vegas. I lived in Las Vegas for seven years, climbing the ranks in the gaming industry from a blackjack dealer to a pit boss. In 2004, I moved to Oregon to attend Lewis & Clark law school. I fell in love with it while in school. My daughter was born in Portland. I spent the first 2 years out of law school working for the Public Defender in Salem.
