Elizabeth Louise Polay

Elizabeth has been our children's attorney for over two years now. As noted in other reviews, Elizabeth's prior experience as a teacher has been of immense advantage to our children. She has been able to successfully navigate our children from one school district to another, along the line transitio...ning from a private school/public district ISP, to a public school/district IEP. We greatly appreciate her ability to finesse situations, and letting us know what is reasonable and what may not be reasonable for both parents wishes and schools requirements. We have not needed her to litigate so could not speak to that, but more importantly Elizabeth's skills have been able to get to the outcomes our children needed for their successful education. Very thorough and explicit with the district in meeting needs, and has been able to do so while maintaining an appropriately positive relationship with us and our children's teams. One of the few times I genuinely give five full stars, or 100%.

We sought out Elizabeth after receiving a glowing referral from a local Special Education college professor. Elizabeth helped us get our daughter, who had a stroke, off an ineffective 504 plan and on an individualize IEP that provided the accommodations our daughter needed. Along the way, Elizabeth p...rovided the counsel we needed and also looked after us financially as she pointed out things that we could handle or letters we could write on our own, with her support of course, without incurring additional fees. Her background in teaching and her knowledge of the law combined for an effective package to help us achieve the things our daughter needed to graduate High School and now move on to college. I know our daughter wouldn't be where she is at today without Elizabeth's assistance. I have already referred several parents of children with special needs to Elizabeth and will continue to do so.
