Terrible attorney. I should have never used her. She did not care about me seeing or having a healthy relationship with my child throughout the custody nor did she truly care about the health and welfare of my child. The entire time she represented me I felt as if she was in a big hurry to get it ...over with with no regard to what I want. She also multiple time tried to force opinions on me and tried to make me feel as if my thoughts or the way I viewed things were wrong. Shortly after my custody battle the law firm she was working for went out of business. I can only assume that’s why she was in a hurry. I guess at that point only the money is what counts. I rarely take the time to do a review however this time I believe it’s warranted. I wouldn’t recommend Elaine to anybody and if you decide to use her you’ll see she just goes through the motions with very little fight for you.

Ms. Hamm put no effort into seeing that my divorce was equitable. She told me to take my "personal items" and leave the house. She said they were just "things" not worth fight over. My ex got the house and all furnishings. He got all of his "toys" (extra cars, two motorcycles, EVERYTHING!) She c...harged me twice for "preparation" for court. The first date she said she was sick--I said "no problem." Charged me a second time for when we did finally go to court! She also had the nerve to call me "vindictive." Get anyone else to represent you. Do not even consider her for your attorney.
