Megan Irinaga

Megan Irinaga is a composed and diligent defense attorney who helps clients navigate the uncertainty and stress that often accompany involvement in the criminal justice system. She approaches each case with the understanding that clarity and reassurance are just as important as strong legal strategy, and she is committed to guiding clients forward with confidence and care.

Megan’s advocacy is informed by significant experience on all sides of the courtroom. She previously served as a Deputy District Attorney in Multnomah County, where she prosecuted hundreds of criminal cases from initiation through resolution. That role provided her with a nuanced understanding of how cases are evaluated, how charging and negotiation decisions are made, and what considerations matter most to judges and opposing counsel. She now uses that insight to anticipate prosecutorial tactics and develop effective, practical defense strategies—often resolving issues before they escalate.

Earlier in her career, Megan worked within the Multnomah County Circuit Court as a judicial clerk. That experience gave her a behind-the-scenes perspective on court operations and reinforced the importance of precision, preparation, and timing in achieving favorable outcomes.

Megan earned her law degree from Willamette University College of Law, where she served as Editor-in-Chief of the Social Justice and Equity Legal Journal and held leadership roles in student government and the Asian Pacific American Legal Association. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Portland.
