in a world of her own imagining

Charged triple of what was necessary to proceed with case, letters. emails, phone calls, TRANSCRIPTIONS! Late for hearings in court, forgetful of key facts of case, argued with me regarding current law I easily gleaned from research, and poorly represented or advised me during deposition. Misreprese...nted her experience--she had none and charged for each "conference" with senior attorney. Judge admonished her for charging me for her "schooling".

Disorganized Nightmare

I was quoted one price, then charged over $1000 more. She asked I write a dissolution of relationship paper to keep the flat rate, which I did. Upon going to sign, the document (which she re-wrote into something new) was full of typos, mistakes and duplicate paragraphs. She charged me 2 hours to fix ...her mistakes. For short emails, I was charged one hour of time to read it. Later, the law office could not locate my file, the original papers or copies and no one seemed to know where these went, where they were and they certainly did not keep me in the loop as to where things stood.

"I fully endorse Ms. Sneller. Jodie joined the firm in 2008 and quickly demonstrated her strong commitment to her clients and her dedication to seeking the right result to sometimes complex and trying family law matters. In 2011 Jodie became a shareholder in the firm and I have no doubts she will carry this firm and its clients into the future."

Relationship: Co-worker

"I have worked with Ms. Sneller for over three years. What impresses me most about Jodie is her keen sense of both the legal and practical ramifications of a client's choices and the ability to advise her clients as to how to balance those implications. Above all, however, Jodie cares about her clients and puts every effort into obtaining the right result for each of them."

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
