Never Again!
I hired David to handle a dissolution. His handling of it was so poor I ultimately fired him and hired another attorney where it was finished within a week, compared to the 'no end in site let me keep dragging it out and charging you approach' Mr. Owens had. "I began working for Mr. Owens in 2008 and joined as a shareholder in the firm in 2011. Since that time I have not met few attorneys with as broad and comprehensive a knowledge base as Dave. He is just as capable in matters of business or divorce as he is in representing our clients faced with criminal charges. I fully endorse Mr. Owens."
"I worked for Mr. Owens as a law clerk during my third year of law school, joined his firm as an associate after graduating and passing the bar, and last year joined him and two other attorneys as shareholders in the firm. First, Dave's tremendous experience in practically any area of the law cannot be matched by many attorneys in Oregon. He has represented literally thousands of clients in the thirty-seven years he has practiced in Oregon, in matters ranging from business formation, negotiations, and disputes to bankruptcy, workplace discrimination and harassment, personal injury, professional licensing board issues, and criminal law. In his first year out of law school Dave represented a client charged with murder, successfully wielding one of if not THE first battered spouse defenses in Oregon. To Dave the most important thing is to build a relationship with each client. For this reason he still represents clients he represented for the first time thirty or more years ago."
