Biography
I'm an intellectual property and business attorney at Protea Legal Co., a boutique firm based in Portland, Oregon. Before my legal career, I was an undergraduate researcher in physical chemistry, and a Ph.D. candidate in biology. I also taught biology laboratory courses at a large research university. Now, as the principal and attorney at Protea Legal Co., my practice is focused on design patents, branding, and business protection.
My interests outside of work include art, design, social justice, and hiking the Pacific Northwest with my pup.
