Leah A Johnson

Leah Johnson is a seasoned personal injury attorney dedicated to guiding clients through the complexities of insurance claims and legal proceedings. With a commitment to achieving the best possible outcomes, she ensures her clients understand their rights and receive the compensation they deserve.

With over two decades of legal experience, Leah has handled numerous trials and appeals, participated in hundreds of arbitrations and mediations, and conducted countless depositions. Her extensive background in personal injury law includes cases involving auto, motorcycle, and bicycle accidents, hazardous conditions such as slippery floors and poorly designed roadways, and pedestrian injuries. In addition to her work in personal injury, Leah has significant experience in criminal law. As a former Deputy District Attorney in Marion County, she prosecuted a range of cases before transitioning to private practice, where she defended clients facing charges such as DUII, theft, and assault. She has also dedicated time to pro bono work, assisting domestic violence survivors with restraining orders through Legal Aid and serving as a victim’s assistance advocate with the Multnomah County District Attorney’s Office.

Leah began practicing law in 1997. Before joining Gilroy | Napoli | Short as a senior associate in 2017, she was a partner at Ravelo, Johnson & Nguyen and a prosecutor in Marion County.

Leah earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Washington and her Juris Doctor from Willamette University College of Law. Outside of her legal practice, she serves on the board of the Wilson Youth Football program. She enjoys spending time with her husband, three children, and their many pets.
