As a former staff attorney with the Florence Project, a non-profit organization that provides free legal assistance to men and women held in Immigration Detention Centers throughout Arizona, I helped countless individuals to better understand and protect their rights in Immigration Court. Now, at my private immigration practice, based out of Portland, Oregon, I continue to work with individuals detained by the government at the Northwest Detention Center in Tacoma, Washington, as well as those in Removal Proceedings at the Portland Immigration Court. I have experience working with individuals facing immigration consequences from criminal convictions. I also have experience working with victims of crimes to help them gain immigration status.
Immigration law is extremely complicated--even for trained professionals! I've seen firsthand how difficult the process of navigating the immigration system can be without the assistance of an attorney. In my practice, I strive to empower my clients to understand the law, their rights, and their options. I provide legal information and advice in terms that my clients can understand so that they can make informed decisions about their immigration case. I also speak Spanish.
