Biography
Chris Heywood is an experienced Trial Attorney who handles misdemeanors, serious felonies, federal crimes, and Measure 11 matters throughout Oregon. Chris brings his unique insight as a former prosecutor to the firm and leverages that experience to aid his clients in all aspects of their case. Mr. Heywood has handled hundreds of criminal cases in his career and has taken more than seventy cases to trial as lead counsel, including serious felonies and Ballot Measure 11 offenses.
Prior to joining the firm, Chris worked as a Deputy District Attorney with the Clackamas County District Attorney’s office for five years. There, Chris handled serious felony matters including cases involving charges of murder and attempted murder, sexual abuse and felony domestic violence.
Recently, Chris was selected as a "Top 40 Under 40-Criminal Defense" for the state of Oregon, further cementing his reputation as an experienced and effective advocate for his clients.
