Bob Lowry has,during his 22 year litigation practice, prosecuted and defended a widevariety of complex commercial litigation matters, including throughtrial and appeal, in various state and federal courts, involvingdiverse transactional, commercial lending, securities and business tortissues. He has recognized expertise in bringing and defending fraud andcivil racketeering claims. His cases have included Japanese andCanadian clients and cross-border issues. Clients have includedCanaccord Capital Corporation, Pfizer, Inc., Industrial IndemnityFinancial Corp., Marine Midland Bank, Northern Telecom, and ConcordCapital Corporation. He was responsible for the assertion ofracketeering claims in the Capital Consultants pension fraud matter.

Environmental:

Mr.Lowry has prosecuted and defended a wide variety of environmentallitigation matters, including through trial, for over a decade invarious state and federal courts. His experience includes soil,groundwater, air contamination and asbestos issues under state andfederal environmental superfund laws and related toxic tort litigationarising from problematic buildings and industrial chemical exposure. Hehas also frequently defended and advised clients in matters involvingthe Oregon Department of Environmental Quality and the WashingtonDepartment of Ecology, as well as matters involving the EPA, and he hasprovided environmental advice related to business clients have included HSBC banking entities, Frito-Lay,Inc., and The Burlington Northern and Santa Fe Railway Company.
