Christopher J Kayser

Chris began his practice of law at the United States Department of Justice, Tax Division, where he represented the United States as lead counsel in over 100 federal cases involving complex tax issues. Following his years at the Department of Justice, Chris practiced at a large D.C. law firm, representing corporate and individual clients in complex commercial litigation and white collar criminal matters in federal courts throughout the country and involving a broad range of issues including international trade, banking, legal malpractice, and environmental contamination. This diverse legal background gives Chris a unique perspective on solving his clients’ problems and the ability to individually fashion a litigation and trial strategy to suit the relative risks and rewards of each case. Consistent with his background, Chris’s practice now focuses on complex commercial litigation and white collar criminal defense.
