Posted by Dani | November 24, 2025 | Hired Attorney | Domestic Violence

Lazy, unprofessional and doesn’t care about domestic violence victims.

She was put on my dv case after my boyfriend attempted to murder me by stabbing and strangulation. She did the bare minimum, would never respond to me, and even though it was a measure 11 (which should be an automatic 14 months on prison) she only got him 6 months with “no time served”. Come to find ...out, no time served is not legal on a federal level. This means that he only served 3 months. I kept asking for more time since he cut his ankle monitor and was on the run for 2 weeks. During that time she did nothing. I was promised something that wasn’t legal and that I didn’t agree to. I had to find out from my ex’s parole officer that her sentence agreement wasn’t legal since after months of trying to get any kind of answers from the DA and court system got me nowhere. She doesn’t care about the victims, only getting the paperwork off of her desk. If you get her assigned ask for someone else.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
