Brenda Jean Edwards

I work with compassion, precision and purpose while ensuring the client is an active participant in every aspect of a case.  I have a diverse career background and diverse interests, from a freelance journalist,  public educator who authored a book regarding the self-contained classroom, and an attorney, with some of these occupations occurring simultaneously, which has given me perspective among many crosssections of society, including my own roots as a daughter from a family of five with a stay-at-home mother and a father who worked extra shifts at a coal-powered plant to make ends meet.  This perspective has shown me how often those in need of legal services often remain unhelped due to the costs of legal services being out of reach.  I wanted to change this, and I did.  I was the first in my family to go to and graduate from college, and I became an attorney.
