Wish I could choose less stars.

Had he hadn't reduced his rate for my situation he may have thought his time was more worth his while. I even have an email where he clearly states because of my reduced rate my case is less of a concern than his other more pressing/paying clients. I originally retained him because he said I was sand...bagged and it was unfair. In hindsight he probably gave me a reduced rate because he knew it was an easy win with zero effort in his part and an easy 13k he'd make EVEN at the reduced rate. There were times I wasn't notified of court until the day before, notices I didn't receive, when I reviewed documents pieces were always missing and/or inaccurate. I really vibed well with him. I was confident in his abilities at first. The first court appearance he appeared unprepared and his opening statements was a mess. I had to fill in details he was givibg incorrectly. The whole thing was a mess. But again, I'm sure due to the 1/2 rate. My case wasn't worth his time and clearly money talks. But lawyers are known for lack of integrity and soul so really I shouldn't be surprised. My expectations were set too high it seems.

Would recommend to anyone!

I used Mr. Shultz and his services almost 10 years ago with no complaints. Mr. Shultz and staff were always courteous, respectful and handled everything in a timely manner. Our family was always treated kindly every time we had to visit the office. I recently needed proof of a prior case along with ...some evidence. I went to see Mr. Shultz and his staff. It has been almost 10 years; I was treated as though it was yesterday. The head secretary knew me by name when I walked in the door, she had specific details I failed to remember that helped our circumstance and pulled our 10 year old files within minutes. Mr. Shultz listened, was direct and honest with our options, I very much appreciated that. I left that office with amazement, it is hard to find anyone any more with that much dedication to their job and care that much about their clients.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education

  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
