Gotta be the worst ever

I wish I never hired him, seemed like either he doesn’t knows what he’s doing or just LAZY or just didn’t care. After the trial which i’ve been found guilty of misdemeanor DV charged I did consulted with a few reputable attorneys and they all surprised that I even get charged in the first place left ...alone being found guilty ( because of all the evidences and the alleged victim recanted the story) and they also told me it is to late to do anything now because the appeal process take too long and for a case like this they might not even consider so just try to forget and move on. It been almost 2 years but I still think about it every day and still couldn’t believe why he’s even took the case and played with someone future like this. I hope nobody have to go through what i’ve been through because of this lawyer.

What the reviewer fails to say is that I did get him acquitted of the felony charge against him and he did better at trial than the best plea offer we received. Any lawyer who told him that the charges should have been dropped has no experience with the Washington County DA's office and recanting DV witnesses. 8 x 10 photos of a woman bleeding and bruised and a frantic 911 phone call from the same woman saying her husband was hitting her is evidence that the DA is not going to ignore.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
