“As a new attorney I handled a PI case for a client under 18. My associate settled w/ defendant's ins. co. in an amount not requiring a conservatorship. The money was transferred to a guardian. I settled with the client's underinsurance in an amount requiring a conservatorship. I came to learn the guardian took the funds from the first settlement. I prepared an inventory in the conservatorship but was unaware that the first settlement needed to be included and for not doing so, I was reprimanded.”
