I agree with Mr. Hackett. You have MONTHS & MONTHS of free rent at your current residence, before Greentree even tries to foreclose.
If I continued my payments on my house after a bankruptcy, but didnt reaffirm, can they sue me if stop making payments now?

Nope they cannot sue you. You don't owe them a cent. Just walk away from the mortgage.

Your attorney will put the cash into his attorney trust account and pay the trustee from that account. Yes, there will be a record of the payment.
