What papers are you referring to? I can't think of any documents in a divorce proceeding that requires a witness.

Judgment or no judgment, the debt is wiped out in bankruptcy and the creditor cannot collect from you.

Are you filing for bankruptcy? An authorized user on a credit card is NOT obligated on that card. You do not have to remove you name from the card.
