Kathleen Ann Profitt

Kathleen Profitt focuses on homeowner and condominium law.  She started her career as a complex business litigation associate at Foster Pepper Tooze LLP.  Thereafter, Kathleen yearned for the opportunity to become an expert in a more specialized, niche industry, where she could further develop her skills as a trusted legal counselor.  With that goal in mind, Kathleen joined Barker Martin PS in 2007 to practice homeowner association law.

Kathleen’s practice while working with Barker Martin focused on association general counsel, enforcement litigation, collections, and construction defect litigation. Now as the founding attorney of Profitt Law PC, Kathleen continues to focus on condominium and homeowner association law, particularly, association general counsel, enforcement litigation, and collection services.  She is constantly updating her practice to analyze and respond to trends in homeowner association law.  

Kathleen Profitt is an active member of the Oregon Chapter of Community Association Institute ("OR CAI") and the Oregon/Washington Community Association Managers ("OWCAM"), where she has served on multiple committees for over six years.  Most notably, she has been an active member of the OR CAI Board and served as the Board Secretary since 2009.  Prior to her election to the OR CAI Board, Kathleen was the Chair of the Membership Committee.  She is also a frequent speaker on educational topics focused on condominium and homeowner association law.
