Approach with Caution

Don't know what happen to this guy but your see two different sides of him, one when you hire him and the other when you try to ask anything more. There's a lot better out there with you the client in mind to have to put up with his demeanor. Any contact beyond you signing the retainer documents ir...ate him and he becomes degrading. He is happy only twice, when you sign him and when he takes his cut. I was warned not to go with an attorney near retirement or coming out of retirement. Prime example of one that could care less about the firm 5 years from now. Its not what he can do for you but what you can do for him.
