Alicia K Vial Beesley

Alicia V. Beesley is an immigration attorney who handles complex, high-stakes cases for individuals and families seeking stability in the United States.

Raised on a farm in Hillsboro, Oregon as one of thirteen siblings, Alicia brings a strong work ethic and deep commitment to protecting families. She studied Anthropology at BYU–Hawaii and served an LDS mission in Mauritius and Réunion, becoming fluent in French. She also studied Spanish and lived in Guatemala, allowing her to serve immigrant clients with cultural and language understanding.

Alicia earned her law degree from BYU Law School and has been licensed since 2009. After more than a decade in civil law, she transitioned to immigration law in 2022, focusing on complex matters including SIJ cases, T-Visas for survivors of human trafficking, and federal habeas cases.

She is admitted to the U.S. District Court for the District of Oregon and has successfully litigated habeas corpus cases in Oregon Federal Court and the Western District of Washington. In 2026, she testified in Oregon Federal Court in an ICE-related detention matter, resulting in a court-granted Preliminary Injunction.

In 2025, Alicia founded Vida Legal Services to provide accessible, compassionate immigration representation, with a focus on Spanish-speaking clients and families facing urgent legal challenges.
