Melissa Diana Garcia

I am writing this review for a close friend, since he is now incarcerated due to Ms Garcia's failure to properly represent him. In court, Ms Garcia asked for "extra time" to present her (his) case, but made no effort whatsoever to make use of that time. No one was subpoenaed, although there were a n...umber of us willing to speak for the defendant, including his VERY BUSY PHYSICIAN. He was railroaded into a guilty plea as the result of a police sting that was blatant ENTRAPMENT. Ms Garcia made no effort to plead his case, which reflected numerous LIES from his Parole Officer at the time. We were all STUNNED by the speedy and careless sentence handed down by the judge (Beth Roberts). This is NOT what justice is about in this country. One should not need to hire an expensive attorney in order to be represented competently. Please forgive me if I'm rambling somewhat. My hands are shaking as I even attempt to write this review.
