Very Satisfied
Mr. Lawson was retained in late 2014 on behalf of our daughter after she sustained a Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) as the result of an automobile accident while on vacation in Hawaii. We live in Oregon. This case involved three different insurance companies and several individuals. It was a complicate...

Bill and Amy were great
Amy and Bill were helpful and prompt and they helped me through a difficult time. I was very pleased with the outcome. If anything else were to ever happen to me again, I would certainly return to them. They explained in depth how the claims and recovery worked and they made it easy to understand ...

EXCELLENT!!
William was very patient respectful and very detail. From the moment i spoke to him on the phone and he broke the whole process down to me I realized he was my lawyer. He devoted countless hours fighting back and forth with the insurance company and the navy to get me as much money as possible. I am ...

Declined to help no explanation
I had a great tall over the phone and was confident Mr. Lawson would be the one to help me after a couple others declined based on the police report which had some inconsistencies and one statements from the other party. But after sending him the police report and indicating the errors on it he sent ...
I never represented Doug Martin at any time. He is a prospective new client contact who was unhappy that we didn't take his case and he is trying to harm my reputation as a result. I was first contacted by Doug Martin about 8 months after his 9/2/2016 accident. This is too long. (A good PI lawyer can help more when he/she is contacted soon after an accident - and the contingency fee is the same.) The reason that it was so long was that he had contacted a couple of other attorneys who had turned down him down before he contacted us. I reviewed his auto vs. bike accident. According to the negative review that he posted, I looked at his case more in depth than the other attorneys who were contacted. (That was apparently my mistake.) It was 8 days from his first contact with my office until I declined his case (5/23/17 until 5/31/17). Shortly after Doug Martin first contacted me, a man who declined to identify himself called our office. He said that he was calling to confirm that we were representing Doug Martin because Doug said that he was going to pay him out of the money that he would be getting for pain and suffering. We declined to provide any information. He said that he was calling to see if Doug was BS'ing him. We did not respond. This was odd and it did not help Doug Martin's efforts to have us represent him. The police report (which he took six days to send us) included an independent witness statement blaming the accident on Doug Martin himself. Although Doug Martin insisted that he was not responsible for causing the accident, I declined the case stating among other things: "I am sorry, but I am quite busy at present and I will not be able to look into this matter further for you." The obvious truth is that I simply cannot take the case of every person who contacts me. (We get several new client contacts every week.) I suggested other avenues that he might take to try to find an attorney. Doug thanked me for taking the time to review his case and told me that "I can understand what it looks like is that it's could've my fault". I explained that we have sometimes disproven the contents of a police report, but that we simply did not have enough available time to take on his case. Instead of moving on to another attorney, Doug Martin apparently gave me a bad review on AVVO. I don't know if he was ever able to obtain an attorney for his claims. Doug Martin's review of my office is entirely unfair. We are criticized for being more thorough, more compassionate and more thoughtful in our new case review process than the other attorneys that he contacted. In light of his actual contacts with our office, it is clear that we provided him with an exceptional 5 star quality new client contact process. We spent a great deal of time and effort trying to see if there was a way that we could help him. When we ultimately explained that we didn't have enough time to take on his case and that he should seek other counsel , he went and posted a 2 star review. That is unjust and unfair.
"William is a very knowledgeable attorney with a clear desire to help those in need of the best possible legal representation. If you are injured and have a claim in his area, you would be well served by seeking his consult."
"Bill is a thoughtful and courageous lawyer. His style is effective with jurors as evidenced by his multi-million dollar jury awards. Bill has the highest standard of ethics. His personality and character make him popular with his clients and colleagues."
"Bill Lawson is a lawyer and person who deserves great admiration - as intelligent and innovate as he is caring."
"Bill Lawson is a lawyer who puts his clients first and abides by the highest ethical and moral standards in the community. He has the highest legal skills in all areas of personal injury law, is a fine trial lawyer and has become a teacher and mentor to lawyers in Hawaii who handle these kinds of cases. I give Bill the highest recommendation."
"William is a fierce advocate for his clients -- the type of lawyer I would hire if I needed assistance in a personal injury case. I have worked with him on estate issues tangential to his personal injury cases, and I have been impressed at his tenacity and willingness to go the extra mile for his clients."
"I endorse this lawyer. I've known Bill since we were at Stanford Law School. I have reached out to Bill from time to time when I needed help in Hawaii, and very importantly, he has ALWAYS been responsive (which is critical when legal matters are involved)."
"I endorse this lawyer. I worked with Bill in successfully opposing an insurance company's efforts to remove a case to California from Hawaii where Bill had filed the case on behalf of our severly injured client, a Hawaiian resident. Bill was thorough, diligent, creative, and absolutely committed to his client."
"I endorse this lawyer. Mr. Lawson is an articulate and effective advocate for his clients, and highly regarded within the legal community. Having known him for over twenty years, I would trust him with handling my own case."
"Bill is a lawyer I've known personally and professionally for over 30 years. He always combines high level competance with a distinctively passionate commitment to his clients, their cases and their well-being."
