Thomas J. Berger joined Watanabe Ing in 2012 as an associate in the Creditors’ Rights and Business Law Group. Prior to joining Watanabe Ing, Mr. Berger practiced civil litigation with a Honolulu law firm. His practice areas include bankruptcy law and creditor rights, collections, commercial litigation, government contracts and procurement, landlord rights, real property law, and government relations. Before entering private practice, Mr. Berger clerked for the Honorable Judge Richard Bissen, Jr. at the Second Judicial Circuit of Hawaii on the Island of Maui. While attending law school, Mr. Berger worked as an extern for the Honorable Judge Richard Clifton of the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
