Because I have worked for large law firms most of my life I knew finding the right attorney for my SSDI claim would be crucial. Don’t fall for the attorney who has slick photos and scripted advertisement promising they will win your SSDI claim. No attorney wins every case they take. I finally decided on Diane Haar from Hawaii Disability Legal Services. Diane graduated from Berkeley University of California and completed her law degree at Yale Law School. Diane and her legal assistant Michele Horton have numerous reviews and all of them are five star glowing recommendations. I met with Diane and almost immediately knew she was the right attorney for me. She answered all my questions and described the process in an easy to understand manner. She believed in my case, she researched my disability, gathered all of my medical records and devoted several hours to prepare me for the questions the judge would ask. Because of Diane I was ready for my day in court. I was relaxed, prepared for any question the judge may ask and most of all confident that I would win my SSDI claim. Thanks to Diane I received a fully favorable decision. If you want an attorney who is motivated, highly educated and has the best legal team in Hawaii then Diane Haar and Hawaii Legal Disability Legal Services is the only choice!

I applied for disability on my own and was denied. In my search for legal representation I met with Diane Haar. Diane was sympathetic to my case and agreed to represent me. I had called many lawyers trying to get help or figure out what to do before I had come across Diane's info online. Unfortunately most lawyers wouldn't even take the time to listen to me, much less help me. I was struggling trying to do it on my own and had been denied benefits unfairly twice already... and knew with my health issues it would be impossible to do alone anymore. When you're her client, no matter how busy her schedule, she makes time for you and responds to questions and concerns unlike others. If you want someone who cares, who will actually take your case on, and fight for you when you can't, she's your lady! I hope I don't meet anyone in my situation, but if I ever do, she will always be the name I give to others applying for SSDI. Don't waste your time on others like I did, start here with her, I promise you, you won't regret it.
