I called Mr. Farmer, left msg, and within 10 min he personally called me back and we discussed my case at length over the phone. I was surprised that even while we were talking, he went online, looked up details of my case in Ho'ohiki and other legal sites he had access to and made several recommend...ations as to actions that could/should be taken. He then offered me his probable fee schedule if I choose him to represent me, but didn't press me in any way to choose at that time. However, after feeling very comfortable with our discussion and his preliminary recommendations, I decided to hire him. He sent me a simple engagement form that I signed and returned. The very next day he called me, said he had discussed my case with the opposing attorney, and had filed and recorded in the court system an affirmative claim on my behalf and sent me a copy of the recorded document! He is now monitoring all proceedings on my behalf and I feel very relieved and confident in my choice of Mr. Farmer to represent me.
