I don't like lawyers, but I love everyone at the Children's Law Center! They fought for my child's well-being as if she were their own. They also challenged my own ideas, so that in the end I came out of litigation with not just a favorable outcome, but also being a better parent. Annabel, Stacy, And...rea, and Tiah are unbelievably good. They listened to me when I thought nobody else would, and provided extremely valuable insight in a polite and easy-going manner. Andrea worked most directly on my case, but in close conjuntion with Annabel, and I consider them both nothing less than a Godsend. They work very hard and are meticulous about every single detail, yet at the same time did everything they could to forego needless expense. However, they worked collaboratively with the other members of the law firm to create winning strategies, and they all took the time to counsel me and provide truly sagacious advice. I couldn't be any more pleased with their work, and would recommend them 110% to any parent in need of legal counsel.

One Star Review...I hired Annabel Murray to represent me in a non-marital/non-divorce involved strictly child custody case. The first thing she informed me was that ALL judges require their clients to go to mediation, so let us push to settle out of court. I wasn't looking to save a few dollars, and ...had informed her that my ultimate number 1 concern was the safety and security of my daughter. She completely disregarded my concerns, issues, evidence, etc. Did not even file any motions at my first hearing, but yet again told me don't bother doing anything just to wait until mediation and it will be handled. Well, surprise surprise...nothing was agreed upon at mediation. I could not even get a response from Annabel prior to our court date, she disregarded the documentation I wanted to submit into evidence, and there was barely any communication until the day of the court hearing 30 min prior where she informed me we'd just go in, request mediation, and that would be it. Wait, didn't she tell me the JUDGE would be the one to require mediation, and what about everything that I was asking for to ensure the safety and security of my daughter! I will not detail my private issues with my daughters father, but let me just tell you they are pretty bad. I ended up terminating her representing my case and finding a new attorney that had to file a motion to amend our original petition due to the lack of evidence presented and work and that was completed. Also, her petition documents are pretty much cut and paste that has you fill in, and is standard for EVERYONE. She did not draw up any original documents for my case. If I wanted to file documents myself I would have done so. Would have saved the thousands of dollars I wasted using her to file petitions and set up mediation. Final warning; if you want an attorney to just file your petitions and set up mediation for a really high cost, hire Annabel; otherwise get a qualified attorney if you wish to achieve any of your petitions in your case, and see your case thru to court.
