Stuart Cohen has represented a client engaged in fraudulent activity, including forging a document. In doing so, he has made many false statements and literally laughed when told a city councilperson office’s unofficial comment. He has been rude, insulting, and falsely accusatory of being put on speakerphone when he talks really loudly and I made statements he could overhear from the background. As someone who claims to understand the laws of technologies such as the internet, as a lawyer, and even simply as a citizen of 21st century America, one would expect him to be able to differentiate a speakerphone call. Not sure how he isn’t able to tell. This attorney also said to my significant other that he already “knew a judge would side” with his client. Last I checked, that’s an assurance against the principals of practicing law. Attorneys do *not* know how judges will rule. They are certainly never allowed to claim they know, much less assure a result. Then Stuart Cohen hung up on her. Most recently, he has sent an email that completely contradicts what his client has already provided us in writing, time and date stamped. This attorney is unprofessional and frankly, rude and patronizing. I have worked with many ethical and legitimate attorneys. Stuart Cohen is not one based on what I have heard, seen, and read from him.
