I just want to say thank you to W.Duncan. We are in WA and it was very, very hard dedition on hiring an attorney in CA. W.Duncan offers free consultation.All other attorneys you have to pay. Plus you do not know if they are the right ones for your case. With all the court we had to be present in CA ...only ones. All other times W.Duncan went on behalf of our son. It saved us alot of money and time. My son had a very complicated case and it was reduced to misdermeanor plus all his court fines and fees were dismissed. I am very pleased with attorneys hard, patient, reliable work. The most inportant that he can be reached any time. He promtly answears his phone calles or emails. My English is he second language and he was able to explaine to me and my son court language.I am going to be onest it was not easy. I was very frustrated and did not understand court system but I am happy I had and attorney. He deserves mor then just 5 stars.

I found out I could not renew my license because I had an outstanding ticket that we got for registration not being current. I was in the wrong. I thought my wife had taken care of it. 2 years after we were pulled over for this on the way home from a trip to Portland, my wife had no recollection of a...nything whatsoever. I called the court, and the rude clerk (aren't they always?) said I have 2 options. Pay, or appear. I wasn't about to drive up to the court several hundred miles away, and paying that enormous fine wasn't an option either. I chose the 3rd option--find an attorney on yelp! There were only a couple in the area. I chose William Duncan because he was willing to listen to me for a few minutes without charging me in 15 minute increments, unlike the other attorney. Mr. Duncan assured me that 95% of cases like mine are at least reduced to a minimal fine of like $25, or dismissed altogether, in his experience. It still felt like a gamble, but I decided to take him on his word. His fee was very reasonable for having to prepare for this and make 2 trips to court. I cooperated with everything he asked. Note that we had actually taken care of the registration right away after returning home, so I think that helped. It took a while, and my license expired before the trial, but it turns out William Duncan's word was accurate! My case was dismissed. He saved me over $600. Thank you, William Duncan!

tl;dr Pros - Won my case, literally in 15 minutes. - Did not need me to appear in court with him - Charged me **so fairly** I actually made money by hiring Mr Duncan (Based on my situation - I'm a college student with no money) - Gave helpful feedback throughout the process to guide the case ...- Offered to reach out to local officers to help reduce the ticket should the judge not be cooperative. (This is actually really important. Having a good relationship with the officers like he does works wonders with the judge). - Offered to hold an extra check and get me traffic school if the outcome of the case didnt win... but he won... in 15 minutes - Doesn't waste time - Stand up guy - Very Professional, gets right to business - Free consultation No downside. I woke up to a text message earlier today: "Your case was dismissed today. Atty Duncan." I'm 20 years old, going through school as well as rough financial times. I had recently received a speeding ticket in Yreka county under very unique circumstances. I contacted William Duncan's practice out of the blue with no references whatsoever. In understanding how young I was, how much the ticket would effect my future, and how poor of a financial position I was in, Mr Duncan graciously offered to reduce his fees to help me fight this ticket -- despite never having met me before and taking me truly at my word. What an upstanding guy - you don't find people like this very often. I attribute the entire success of this case to Mr Duncan's work.
