Barret Thomas Alexander

Barret Thomas Alexander is an Associate Attorney at Arthofer & Tonkin.  He graduated from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona in 2011.  While at Cal Poly, Mr. Alexander achieved distinction as a several time Dean’s List Recipient and one time President’s List recipient.  Following completion of his undergraduate studies, Mr. Alexander attended Whittier Law School.  He received his Juris Doctorate Degree in 2016.

Mr. Alexander obtained distinction in law school after finishing in the top 17% of his graduating class and achieving Magna Cum Laude honors.  Additionally, Mr. Alexander served as the Administrative Justice for the Moot Court Honors Board in 2015.  He competed for his law school in the John J. Gibbons National Moot Court Competition in 2014.  In his final year of law school Mr. Alexander finished second in the California State Bar Environmental Negotiation Competition.

Mr. Alexander has experience in several aspects of the litigation cycle including: discovery, depositions, settlement conferences, mandatory settlement conferences, expedited hearings and lien conferences.  Mr. Alexander’s prior experience included representing employers, insurance companies, third party administrators, and permissibly self-insured employers.

In his down time Mr. Alexander enjoys: working out, watching sports, trying new beers and spending time with his lovely wife and family.
