Biography
I was born and raised in the Sierra Foothills, and went to college in Portland Oregon. At Reed College I majored in classical languages and history. I spent about six years working in restaurants in New York City, and opened two with a partner. I returned to law school in 2005, focusing on criminal law and policy. Following graduation, I worked as a staff attorney at the California Supreme Court. In 2010 I moved to my hometown, Nevada City, and started a solo practice. I have been working with Michael Colantuono since 2011, representing cities and local governments throughout the state in an advisory and litigation capacity.
