Stacie Power should be disbarred. She is dishonest, incompetent, and will charge you for her own mistakes, and then charge you again for pointing them out. She double-bills for tasks she hasn’t even begun, and if you question her charges, she threatens that it will cost you even more money for the “t...ime it takes her to review them.” Her staff is just as incompetent. After numerous attempts at basic court filings and even simple letters, they still failed to get things done correctly. Don’t let yourself be taken to the cleaners by this con-woman and her office. I learned the hard way: thousands of dollars wasted and two and a half years of my life lost. I gave her the benefit of the doubt, and she took advantage of me. When I finally refused to hand over more money until she explained what she was doing for my case, what her plan was, and provided a breakdown of the charges I had already paid, she refused to answer. Instead, she dropped me as a client on the grounds that I wouldn’t keep paying without accountability. If you don’t mind paying for lies and excuses, if you have all the time in the world to waste on incompetent representation, if you’re fine paying someone else for work you end up doing yourself, go ahead and retain Stacie Power. But I promise you will regret it. And don’t just take my word for it. Read the other recent reviews online. The fact that she has only 1-star reviews says it all. That lone star is probably the only honest thing she’s earned in years.
