Member: California State Bar and Idaho State Bar Associations, Sacramento County Bar Association Bankruptcy Section, Federal District Court, Eastern District of California, Federal District Court of Idaho, United States Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. In addition to his bankruptcy practice, Mr. Schwartz has been general counsel for several large insurance corporations including Sierra Life Insurance Company and California-Western States Life Insurance Company. He has handled matters relating to securities, pension plans, policy coverage, contract interpretation, and general corporate matters. Mr. Schwartz has also served as a pro tem settlement judge in Sacramento County.
