Some of the main reasons of this review is due to misleading video and site advertisement from Bohm Law Group and the lack of follow up, professionalism and employment law experience of Erik Roper. They claim to be passionate and experts on employment law and workplace litigation, but assigned Erik to review our case, and made us go there to waste time and money on a consultation when he mentioned to us that employment law is not his expertise, and has not really worked on this area!
Furthermore, prior to meeting Erik, I had to wait over a month to get an in person "consultation" since it was the next step and according to them, they are so "busy" on trials for other cases. Therefore, they threw my case to the back-burner. I had to wait over 2 months to get a response on my situation! On top of that the person they assigned to review my case was Erik who works as a contractor for Bohm Law Group and who does not have the expertise on employment cases as he clearly mentioned to us during the in person consultation! (whistle-blowing, retaliation, discrimination, wrongful termination etc..) Based on what he mentioned to us, Erik is being mentored on employment law by Lawrance A. Bohm since now Erik wants to be on the employment law area!
After wasting about 2 months on this process that was a waste of time, effort and money, that we could have used talking with an experienced employment law lawyer. We had to wait almost a month to get feedback from Erik after the consultation, and attorney Erik Roper not responding to my calls, nor did the follow up he indicated (within 2 weeks) during in person consultation. Recently, Erik called, just a few seconds before I called him to find out status of my case, and told me that they were not going to take my case which did not make any sense considering that Erik who reviewed my case told me that employment cases were not his expertise! He was tired the day he listened to our case as he mentioned us, so I don't even know if he really paid attention to all our situation, but the only thing he said that made some sense at the end was "This is ugly" Of course it is, and according to Erik he decides with Lawrance A. Bohm a few days before he called me, and then tells me that my case is not strong enough! Erik knew already the status of the case days before he called me, but did not even have the common courtesy to give me a 2 min call!
If Bohm Law Group is too busy on trials and can not or do not want to take new clients, then be honest and put it on your website , or list the waiting time frames and do not waste peoples time nor money on situations like this where time and money is key especially that there are deadlines in order to file complaints and all members of household are not working due to wrongful termination etc.. Erik even mentioned that the way we had everything organized is something that Lawrance A. Bohm likes and looks in cases in order to decide which ones to take.
Timing is key on this processes and wasting 2 months to hear a good luck and no sense response from Erik who is not even an expert on employment cases it is not only disrespectful, unprofessional but also dishonest due to the fact that Bohm Law Group is allowing persons like Erik who does not have the expertise on employment law to make a decision on whether a employment law case is strong enough for them to take or not. Now we see that their infomercial videos about caring for other people when I was obviously discriminated, retaliated against due to whistle-blowing and then eventually wrongfully terminated, are not accurate.
In regards to Lawrance Bohm I never got to see his work and passion about helping people get justice, I don't know what he heard about my case from Erik, an inexperienced employment law attorney. His employees (Solymar) and contractor are clearly showing the opposite of what he portrays on the videos.

Relationship: Worked together on matter
Lawrance and I have worked four cases together. Not only is he one of the most talented lawyers I know, but he cares deeply about his clients. His trial skills are exceptional. He's broken several employment law records (see his wikipedia page for more on that) and he loves to be in front of the jury. I recommend him to my other lawyer friends who practice employment law.
