Juana Torres Jung

Juana Torres Jung is an associate attorney at Wilner & O’Reilly’s Sacramento office. She is admitted to the California State Bar and Colombia Bar. Ms. Jung is a native of Medellin, Colombia. She received her Bachelor of Laws from the University of Medellin graduating at the top 5% of her class. She obtained her Masters of Laws from the University of California, Berkeley. She also holds a certificate of specialization in business law from the University of California, Berkeley.

While studying law at the University of Medellin, Ms. Jung interned for the Office of the General Prosecutor of Colombia representing victims of crimes in criminal proceedings. During her time in Berkeley, Ms. Jung engaged in pro-bono work with the Berkeley Immigration Group. She also earned the Best Legal Research and Writing Memorandum Award for her outstanding research and writing skills.

Prior to joining W&O, Ms. Jung worked as a paralegal for an immigration law firm in San Francisco. As an immigrant herself, Ms. Jung enjoys helping people, like many of us, who are seeking better opportunities for themselves and their families in the U.S. Ms. Jung has experience in removal defense (asylum, cancellation of removal), family-based, non-immigrant visas, and consular processing. Ms. Jung is fluent in English and Spanish.

During her free time, Ms. Jung enjoys yoga, running, camping, and cooking. She lives with her husband, a physician, in Sacramento.
