I have represented the construction industry for more than 27 years. Most of my work is in litigation and arbitration where I represent developers, contractors, subcontractors and suppliers in court or before an arbitrator. Although I usually serve as an attorney I also serve as a mediator or arbitrator. I regularly contribute to legeisliation on behalf of the construction industry, including as a member of the legal advisory committees of AGC and ASA and through my memberships on numerous construction organizations. I was the founding president of Region Builders, Inc. and a founding board member of Real Estate and Construction Networking. I have been appointed an El Dorado County Superior Court Judge Pro Tem. I chaired the State of California committee of construction attorney who revised the construction laws found in Civil Code 8000 to 9566. I was the first attorney to draft and published the construction claim forms to meet the requirement of these new laws. I am committed to responding to my clients promptly, almost always within an hour after the call or e-mail - unless I am in court or arbitration.
