Charles Marchand Bonneau III

Charles (Chuck) M. Bonneau, III is an Associate Attorney in the Sacramento Office of Borton Petrini, LLP. Chuck received his Undergraduate degree from the University of California, Santa Barbara in 2007 with a Bachelor of the Arts Degree in Global Studies.

He received his Juris Doctorate from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law, in 2012.

As a Sacramento Lawyer, Chuck focuses his practice in the areas of family law, immigration law, criminal law, and insurance defense, throughout Northern California.

Chuck assists family law clients with marital dissolutions, modifications of support, domestic violence restraining orders, child custody determinations, etc. Chuck provides criminal defense services from pre-trial negotiations through appeal and various other post-conviction remedies. In the immigration context, Chuck helps clients with family and employment-based Petitions, K-1 Visas, U-Visas, and more. Finally, Chuck handles general insurance defense litigation, including: personal injury, premises liability, and subrogation.

Chuck is admitted to practice in the Executive Office of Immigration Review, the Eastern District of California, and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.

During his time as a solo practitioner, Chuck represented clients in many different arenas, ranging from one-room, rural courthouses to successfully orally arguing in front of a three-judge panel in the Ninth Circuit.

Chuck is married to Yvette Bonneau, and they have two children: Leo and Lola. Chuck and Yvette are avid backpackers, and escape to the mountains-with the kids-every chance they get.
