Working with Hellen was very easy, she explains the processes and helps through every step. She worked with me on costs and had allowed me to save money by offering the option to do some things myself but would've handled them herself, if I chose to have her do it, and she explained clearly what was ...needed from me when I completed some of the work to save on costs. She was confident and strong in hearing and very knowledgeable. She was compassionate with my feelings and understands the emotional roller coaster it is while going through this process and reminds you that you are NOT alone. I would highly recommend hiring her for any divorce/separation issues you need. She has one area she focuses on and it is helpful she is strictly focused in that area and not others. I hired Hellen Hernandez initially to review and change some ambiguous orders from a divorce and custody case I had. When i was going through my divorce/custody I had hired someone that was pretty inexpensive since i didn't have a lot of money, nor did i know a lot about hiring a professional. I u...nfortunately did not have a good experience and now 2 years later am suffering from some mistakes that were made. Hellen was very professional and warm, and told me exactly what we could do/ask for, and what we could not. She was also honest in every step of the way in her billing, the legal process, and what she felt might happen. This was so refreshing! I knew where my case stood the entire time. I also appreciated the fact I was given options and that multiple decisions were given. She answered all my calls and emails promptly and even stayed late once so i could come in after work.
