Eileen Theresa Booth

I am a partner at Jacobsen & McElroy and have extensive experience in complex litigation, specializing in construction defect litigation.  I was admitted to practice law in England in 1994 and was admitted to practice law in California in 1996.  My  primary practice area has been in the insurance defense realm involving the defense of the developer, general contractor or subcontractor in construction defect litigation.  I also handle public entity defense, product liability and premises liability cases.

I graduated from the University of Buckingham in Buckinghamshire, England in 1990 with an Honors Degree in Politics, Economics and Law. Thereafter, I attended the University of Northumbria in Newcastle England where I graduated in 1992 and then trained with the International law firm of Eversheds until 1994. I am licensed to practice in both state and federal courts.  I am a member of the Sacramento County and Placer County Bar Associations, Women Lawyers of Sacramento and the Association of Defense Counsel.  I am also a member of the Construction Defect Committee and Public Entity Law Committee of the ADC and have been a member of the Anthony M. Kennedy Inn of Court.
