Stephen Scott Pearcy

I've been an attorney since 1999 and have provided legal services for clients needing counsel regarding probate matters, trusts, wills, trust administration and business transactions.  I've also drafted and negotiated various business contracts while serving as counsel for companies and investors; and I've prepared many types of trusts and wills and prepared hundreds of federal and state tax returns for my clients. 

I received my Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics in 1993 from the University of California, Davis; and I received my Juris Doctorate in 1998 from Golden Gate University School of Law, San Francisco, where I received the American Jurisprudence Award for excellence in Legal Writing and Research.

I'm a member of the State Bar of California, the Sacramento County Bar Association, and I'm admitted to practice in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California.

Prior to starting my own law practice, I was an attorney at Gray Cary Ware & Freidenrich LLP (now DLA Piper), in Palo Alto, California, where I represented numerous Silicon Valley technology companies, nationally recognized public companies, angel investors, venture capital firms and institutional investors.
