Alex Taylor Shapiro

Mr. Shapiro represents veterans before the Board of Veterans' Appeals and the U.S. Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims. Mr. Shapiro is VA accredited and admitted to the U.S. Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims.

Mr. Shapiro received his Juris Doctor from the University of California Hastings College of the Law in San Francisco. He received his certificate in Paralegal Studies, with distinction, from the University of California, Los Angeles, and his undergraduate degree in economics from the University of California, San Diego, where he participated in the Mock Trial National Tournament and was Philanthropy Committee Organizer for Phi Alpha Delta.

Prior to helping our nation's veteran's, Mr. Shapiro honed his litigation skills in all aspects of workers’ compensation litigation. He conducted trials, negotiations, research and discovery, including depositions, drafted all manner of documents and correspondence and analyzed complex medical records.
