Jeff Kravitz did a fantastic job. I was faced with a forced sale of my liquor license by ABC within 180 days or possible revocation of license. They gave me two weeks to make my decision and sign paperwork. This all came 2 days before Christmas and I didn’t know where to turn. I contacted Jeff’s offi...ce and was informed he was out of the country, but much to my surprise I received an immediate call from Jeff while he was overseas and he began working on my case immediately. We had several conversation while he was overseas and always was quick to respond when I reached out to him. He knows ABC extensively and was able to get me an extension to work through the process. A couple months later he was able to negotiate a deal with ABC and my local jurisdiction whereby I could keep my license and business. I would highly recommend Jeff to handle an ABC case.

Jeff Kravitz is a true pro, an expert in all things insurance licensing law and the only call you need to make, should your license be in jeopardy. After 33 years in the insurance industry, I received devastating news, in a devastating way. I was informed by my employer, my license had been revok...ed effective immediately and seemingly with no recourse. As you can imagine, it was a difficult day. Given the gravity of my issue, I reached out to Kravitz & Chan for advice and spoke to Jeff's business partner, Paul Chan. Paul patiently listened to my plight and informed me that I needed to speak with Jeff and he would have him call me back, ASAP. Within one-hour, I received Jeff's call and learned he was on vacation with his family. Jeff was highly knowledgeable, straightforward and transparent about the difficulties I was facing. Although it seemed unlikely we would prevail and he was on his personal time...Jeff was willing to put his family plans aside, to support me. I did not formally engage Jeff at that time, due to financial constraints. What happened next, changed my life. Jeff proceeded to share the immediate steps I should take on my own, who I should contact and exactly what I should say. I followed Jeff's pro-bono advice, and my license was reinstated the next following day, at 2pm. That action saved my job and likely, what would have been a career-ender. I formally engaged Kravitz & Chan a short time later. True to form, Jeff helped me understand my issue, set clear expectations, and provided a timeline and likely outcome of my case. In just 2 months, Jeff resolved my case, I retained my license and restored my name. I'm so glad he was on my team.

Charged much more money than other attorneys I looked at. Hired him because he assured me he was very good. I wanted an attorney who would fight for my cause. After he was hired he did not give me copies of documents he created and I should have received. He then told me that I need to get along ...with the other side. He said if they ask for something, give them more. That's not what I wanted to hear and terminated his services. After his services were terminated, it took me months to get the documents I had previously requested. He was very expensive compared to other attorneys who do the same kind of work and I don't feel he was worth it.

This is a warning for everybody who may consider his services. He is highly incompetent and lazy lawyer and despite me paying him $5,250 in fees for one and a half day hearing, he didn't prepare and "forgot" to schedule witnesses and lost the case. I have complained to California BAR and the issue is... being investigated. I have also asked him to settle the case (the settlement offer was on the table before his hiring) which he lied to me later that it was denial but later State representative told me it was always on the table obviously he didn't even contact him. BEWARE despite smooth talk and sales skills (which may be his only skill) highly incompetent as a lawyer and is a dishonest professional. I am highly disappointed and would not recommend him to anybody.
