Biography
Tom is a Shareholder of Amberg Harvey and practices in the areas of bankruptcy, collection defense and general civil litigation. Prior to this, Tom worked at a boutique bankruptcy firm in Sacramento, California, where he practiced exclusively in the areas of bankruptcy and collection defense. Before coming to Sacramento, Tom worked in Paris, France at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer in the field of International Arbitration.
Tom holds a Juris Doctor from Saint Louis University School of Law in St. Louis, Missouri, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Spanish and Political Science from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. He is originally from Chicago, Illinois.
Tom is admitted to practice law in the State of California and primarily practices in the Eastern, Northern and Central Districts of California. He is a member of the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys and he currently serves as the President of the Sacramento Valley Bankruptcy Forum.
