About my consultation. I have never wanted to write a review so badly in my life. This attorney does not actively listen and is rude. She asked me detailed questions about my situation and I answered in great detail. More than a few times, she repeated her question such as about dates and time frames... of different events. After about the third time she did this, I said "I already told you the date/time" and I proceeded to repeat what I had told her just moments before. She very rudely said, "You need to adjust your tone when you're talking to me." The audacity. My tone literally never changed. I asked her how my tone was rude or inappropriate and she replied "because you said I told you." Well lady, I did tell you and I don't think she understands the definition of tone/tonality. I had to repeat myself many times and I expressed this to her. Not actively listening to a potential client is in itself rude and unprofessional. I would never speak to anyone the way she spoke to me. SlDuring our conversation she also would ask me a question and then interrupt me while I was mid sentence. I would not do business with someone who obviously has a low regard for people in general and lack people skills. From my experience, lawyers are usually the MOST pleasant during a consultation because, of course, they want you to become a client. Imagine a month from now how she would be treating me. I am going to go out on a limb and say that her "sparkling personality" (thats sarcasm) has not won her many clients because she answers her own phone. Not knowledgeable. She only offered one option for how I could keep one of my vehicles before knowing the value of my vehicle. FYI, in Ca you have 4 options and one of them began around 2023. When I asked about one of my other options that is the only time she offered that option and said I would be able to do that (after she asked a few details). Had I not known about the option she would not have offered it.

From the moment I walked into Muoi's office until I received my bankruptcy discharge papers, I was always at ease. Muoi is professional, compassionate, and knows the law. She reurned every phone call or e-mail from me the same day. She treated me with respect and dignity. Muoi always kept me infotmed... regarding the progress of my case. She did an exceptional job for me. I recommend her without hesitation.
